Yossi Chaikin

Yossi Chaikin was born and raised in Qiryat Motzkin, Israel, and was introduced to theater at a very young age. In 2004, he competed on Nickelodeon’s Adraba Next Generation and was chosen to tour with Mayumana. Yossi spent his teens performing all over Israel in festivals and competitions such as Festival Carmiel (2006),Red Sea Joy (2008/2009), BRAVO (Israel), FISAF (Moscow, Russia) and The Maccabi Games (Boston, US). He then went on to attend college at The Juilliard School (BFA 15’) and continued his training at multiple companies including Jacob’s Pillow (2011/2013) and Springboard Montreal (2014/2015). Some of Yossi’s notable performing credits include Nacho Duato’s Without Words, Twyla Tharp’s Baker‘s Dozen and Mark Morris’ Grand Duo. He has also performed at venues such as Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Guggenheim Museum, Place Des Arts, The FOX Theatre, and the Private Bank Theatre. In 2014, Yossi played Naphtali in the national tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Yossi is currently Co-dance captain and swing in the Chicago company of HAMILTON: An American Musical.
