A musical theater dance workshop featuring all styles of dance, and focusing on technique. From classic musicals to the latest Broadway hit, students will explore different styles of dance while learning how to tell a story through movement. Classes will consist of warm ups, across the floor combos, and group dances. Students will participate in dance challenges, games, and choreography exercises. The 8 week course will conclude with an informal dance performance for family and friends during our last class. Students will need to wear clothes they can move in, (no jeans) and jazz shoes or sneakers. They will be asked to bring water, have their hair out of their face, and be ready to dance.
