As an educator he has taught tap, jazz, musical theatre, voice and song coaching through Front & Center Performing Arts in Springfield, NJ in addition to many private clients. Through his work as a freelance coach in all of these disciplines, he found his love and passion for teaching kids of all ages the skill of a successful audition. This heart centered process involves a creative, nurturing and solid audition technique that is both effective and fun. His vast experience as an actor means he has had thousands of auditions over his twenty-year professional career. Kurt's auditions have resulted in booking the role of Don Kerr in the Broadway revival of A CHORUS LINE, the first national tour of the revival of 42ND STREET,, and the St. Paul Company of Irving Berlin’s WHITE CHRISTMAS. He has been seen Off-Broadway in the Jone’s and Schmidt musical ROADSIDE at the York Theatre Company, ALL IS LOVE at the New York Musical Theatre Festival as well as performing with the Rockette’s in the Radio City City Christmas Spectacular.
