2017 Troupe AUDITIONS

Auditions will take place on June 17th, 2017 from noon to 4 pm. Auditions are open to students entering 4th and 5th grade in the fall of 2017. Auditions will be held at the Highwood Rec Center at 432 Greenbay Road in Highwood.
Students should prepare two 32-bar cuts of music; an up-tempo and a ballad. Be prepared to sing both, but students may only sing one. Bring sheet music in your key. Please bring a picture and resume. An accompanist will be provided.
Troupe is a year-long program, beginning in late August 2017 and ending in May 2018. Students have the option to do one semester. Troupe will produce two full productions. The director for Troupe 2017-2018 will be Maggie Portman, and A choreographer is to be determined. Spring Session 2017


FOR 4th & 5th Graders ONLY
Ericka Mac will lead a NEW PERFORMANCE GROUP “The Troupe” for TPS. Training in music, dance and acting should be constant. This group will be an excellent opportunity to further learn and develop through a full theatrical performance based on the teachings of our current full production group; The Ensemble.  The amazing Ericka Mac will guide, teach, nurture and help students move to the next level in their overall performance skills. Production to be determined.

TROUPE AUDITIONS for 2017:

We are seeking fourth and fifth graders who are interested in doing a Broadway style show performances will be the weekend of May 19 through the 21st 2017.
Show TBD AND LOCATION TBD If you are interested please submit a 32 bar cut of your best musical theatre song. You can tape it on your phone. Please use accompaniment.

Cost for new students is $350 deposit +2 payments of $400
Cost for returning students is $800 for the second semester.Classes will take place on Thursdays from 4:00-6:00 PM and on Saturdays from 12:30 to 2:30 PM at the Highwood rec center
